Allison is a competitive FEI dressage rider and trainer based out of Littleton, Colorado. Over the past 15 years she has competed numerous horsed in varied equestrian disciplines, including jumpers and western pleasure, ultimately finding her lifes passion in dressage.

Many of the horses Allison has competed she has trained from the ground up, including her current competition horse, Regulus 24. Regulus is a Hanoverian gelding she purchased 4 ½ years ago and began showing at 1st level, she continues to show him now with scores in the high 70’s from “O” judges. Allison has received many horse of the year awards at both the regional and national level on Regulus, as well as on other horses.

Allison’s training follows closely the German system. Over the years she has worked with many international competitors including Ulla Salzgeber, Jos Severiens, Lars Peterson, Jurgen Hoffmann, and Bent Jensen, and most recently trained at Legacy Hill Farms in Castle Rock, Colorado. Allison also had her own business, Allison Decant Dressage, which operated in Conifer, Colorado and Encinitas, California. Through her education Allison has come to believe that it is through quiet repetition that a horse and rider reach a common understanding.
