Lauren is an FEI Dressage competitor, trainer as well as mother of six children. She grew up riding "back yard" horses in the Cherry Creek Pony Club. Upon graduating from college she had a career in Interior Design. She purchased her first dressage horse "Leo" in 2000. Lauren has trained her much beloved horse from Second Level through Grand Prix. Aboard "Leo" Lauren has earned her USDF silver and gold medals. Together they have been awarded Horse of the Year awards by RMDS, as well as earned USDF Region V Horse of the Year every year they have been together. They have travelled to California and competed inn the CDI's as well as shown in Colorado. In 2006 they were ranked 4th in the nation at I-1, and in 2008 were ranked 1st in the nation at I-II. In 2008 they were awarded the RMDS I-II Horse of the Year, as well as the RMDS Grand Prix Horse of the Year.

After competing as an amateur, Lauren became a professional rider and trainer in 2008, and feels it is her greatest success yet!

Lauren was the Grand Prix demonstration rider for the USDF National Dressage Symposium in 2008 with Kyra Kyrklund, she has also demonstration rider with Steffen Peters, Janet Foy Brown as well as for the USDF /AA series with Jane Savoie. Lauren has trained with Steffen Peters, Conrad Schumacher, Debbie McDonald. Christine Traurig and Jan Ebeling. She is currently training with Steffen Peters on a quarterly basis.
