Rebecca Johnson
In Stride, Inc., a successful training/coaching business at both the CHJA and A show level consists of trainers Rebecca Johnson and Genevieve Kalmbach.
Rebecca is a lifelong horsewoman who has successfully competed in a variety of disciplines. Her experience is extensive and began as a child participating in 4-H and local Gymkhanas’. As a young teenager, she competed in Area IX combined training events as well as RMDS dressage shows and participated in clinics with Denny Emerson, Captain Jeremy Beale, and Karen O’Connor. In her late teens, she took an interest in the hunter-jumper world and in college became a competitor for the CSU Equestrian team, competing locally and nationally. Upon graduation with an Equine Sciences degree, Rebecca was the Director of Riding at the Alexander Dawson College Preparatory School for four years.
Following seven years as an instructor with Up & Over, Inc., Rebecca started up her own business by forming In Stride, Inc. in 2005. Rebecca has either ridden with, or assisted, clinicians such as Will Simpson, Nicole Shahinian-Simpson, Rudy Leone, Dale Pederson, Scott Hofstetter, and Buddy Brown. Additionally, Rebecca breeds and produces Oldenburg sport horses for the show ring.

Genevieve Kalmbach began her professional career teaching and riding for Up & Over, Inc. at Columbine Equestrian Center. After and during getting her Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Aeronautics, Genevieve has spent time in Florida, Texas, Arizona, Utah and Colorado teaching and training professionally. As a competitor, prior to turning professional, Genevieve competed very successfully in all three rings up through level 7 jumpers and participated in the Young Rider qualifiers. Genevieve is an active competitor on the show circuit in the jumper and hunter rings.

Rebecca and Genevieve both love sharing their knowledge of horses and have students competing very successfully in hunters, jumpers, and equitation on the local and national level.
